Executive Summary

A Multi-Disciplinary
Creative Director and Designer

With over 12 years of experience in design and creative direction, I've been creating and ideating experiences for brands, social media, web, motion, and my very favorite in-person events and exhibits.

Professionally Speaking

While stepping out into an uncertain job-market I managed to thrive as a studio lifestyle and product photographer at Crayola. Then I jumped into the ad world in New York City with TracyLocke where I developed exponentially as an illustrator and designer working with consumer brands like Pepsi, Reebok, and Diageo. A few years later while working at Meta, I flourished in a constantly evolving role. I took on new challenges daily, led projects, guided design teams, on-boarded and directed production partners, and built experiences I never thought were possible. I also helped bridge gaps between product design and brand marketing creative teams which increased team collaboration and design consistency across the company.

Currently as freelance Creative Director and Designer, I partner with businesses large and small, helping them expand and grow their capabilities. I’ve been referred to as “the one who brings the fun” in everything I do. Working with highly diverse and remote teams—from creatives to CEOs—I always approach with a solution oriented and empathetic mind.

Committed To Community Building

A strong sense of community among teams and partners is deeply important to me and I am always fostering diversity and inclusion. When people know who they’re working with they enjoy the people they work with. Companies then become exponentially more productive. On that note while working at Meta I created websites and produced design for internal organizations like Women@Meta, Black@Meta, and Meta’s Product focused Fixathon. These organizations helped build community within the company by bringing all inclusive global events that educated, inspired, and provided new perspectives to how we all worked.

Outside of my full-time commitments I produce and organize shows in Los Angeles, California that include indie musicians and artists. I also have created an annual coffee table publication, “Pigeon Magazine,” that is a collection of open submissions, interviews from contributors, narratives, and photography focused on indie creator culture in various cities around the world.

“Oh hey!” It’s Me

When I'm not designing or thinking about design, I will more than likely be at a show, traversing my neighborhood for another good cup of coffee, or lifting heavy objects only to put them down and pick them back up numerous times. I love connecting with the creative community and with those that share a passion for building something tangible, Pigeon Magazine has become a very special project to me for both of those reasons. Recently, I made the move from Los Angeles, California to Barcelona, Spain so that I can experience living abroad and maybe learn something new, like Spanish.

It’s the little things that matter most.
